- Help you understand what you can do to prevent food poisoning, including the steps you can take.
- Identify ways to maintain cleanliness.
- Describe methods to prevent cross contamination.
- Give you information on storing and heating food at the correct temperature.

Course assessment and certification
The candidate must pass the final assessment, however if failed the course content can be revisited and the final assessment re-attempted. On successful completion of the final assessment a downloadable certificate is immediately available.
